Hello! Growing up in the Tri-Cities provided me with many opportunities to be involved in various sports and activities all the way through high school. Since I had such an active upbringing, I knew early on that I wanted a career that would not only keep me active, but also give me the chance to help others. While attending college for Exercise Science and learning about the complexities of the human body, I realized that Personal Training was the route I wanted to take. I received my Personal Training Certificate from the International Sport Science Association in 2013 while I was living in Portland, OR with my Husband. While there, I started my own business that allowed me to go to my clients homes and design functional training programs that they could do with minimal equipment.
There is not a universal diet plan, exercise program, or lifestyle hack that works for everyone, which is why I feel that the most important thing a trainer can do is adapt to each person’s abilities, needs and desires. My goal as your Personal Trainer has two parts. The first is to teach you correct techniques and proper exercises that will help you surpass your goals. The second is to instill a sense of power, accomplishment and confidence in the choices you make both in and out of the gym.
Thank you for reading my bio. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to set up a meeting to discuss how I can best help you help yourself!
