I graduated from Whitworth University, in May 2015, with a B.A. in Kinesiology and a minor in Coaching. I played football for all four years of my college career and worked extensively with the weights program in my final two years. Football led me to discover my passion for weight lifting and personal training allows me to help people find that same level of passion. Above all I believe that it is important for people to feel comfortable in the gym while they are working to improve their strength, health, and ultimately life, I want to help foster that sort of environment. Personal training allows me to help people discover just how beneficial working out and eating correctly can be for one’s life, and there is nothing more satisfying for me than helping individuals reach the best possible version of themselves. It is of the utmost importance that I help individuals to find their source of motivation and enjoyment at the gym and continue to offer the resources for continued success and results, not only physically but also on an emotional level.
If I am not in the gym then I can often be found doing activities such as hunting, fishing, or hiking. I enjoy really any activity that will take be outdoors. I also have plans to compete in several bodybuilding competitions come 2017, and continue to strive towards those goals each and every day.
